An unbuilt collaboration with glaserworks, One River Plaza consisted of two residential towers sitting along the Ohio River. Splitting the program into two buildings allows a dynamic pair of masses that respond to the urban riverfront environment. The diamond-shaped plans are set corner-to-corner in a bowtie shape to allow panoramic views of the urban basin and riverfront. Challenging the instinct to only develop a one-sided, river-facing building, each side of the building features a distinct view; southeast to the winding Ohio River, southwest across the river to Kentucky’s hilltops, northwest downtown toward the skyscrapers, and northeast up to picturesque Mount Adams.
