8th and Sycamore

Working with developers and the City of Cincinnati, we developed a design concept for a large mixed use development at the corner of 8th and Sycamore in downtown Cincinnati. The proposed building includes a 500 car public parking garage wrapped with residential units and amenities. The residential tower consists of 1 and 2 bedroom apartments overlooking an amenity level on top of the garage. The fa├žade along Sycamore would receive ground-oriented townhomes and loft style units above retail. The building materials, regular concrete structure, and large areas of glass relate to the early twentieth century industrial architecture of the neighborhood. The development will significantly change the skyline of the east end of downtown.
